Travel: Charleston Windows

My company got a new office in Charleston South Carolina. I went down to visit and meet some of my new coworkers over labor day weekend.

Of course, a hurricane hit and the office closed, but the day after was gorgeous so I still got to explore the city. In the morning, I wandered around and photographed a bunch of houses and scenery. Here is my collection of windows from that trip.

The window boxes are so inspiring, it makes me want to plant some in my windows in Richmond. It's a shame I have a green thumb. This sun was so bright so I struggled with just my iPhone to get the lighting just right.

The brick one with the bright green plants underneath was one of my favorites. I just love seeing how the arched brick constructs and supports the house.

I could have photographed the rod iron all day.

These two are probably my favorites. The green with the large leaves and the bright one on the left. Dreamy.

I want to cut a round hole in my own house so I can have a window just like this:
