Desktop Dumpster

I bought myself a Desktop Dumpster from Steel Plant. I had eyed these for awhile, so when the first round of purchasing came out - I jumped at the occasion to get one.

I used acrylic paint to cover the dumpster with an octopus. I first sketched it out on a flat piece of paper and then wrapped it around and traced some of my own illustration with a light pencil. I tried to layer the acrylic paint up so it has a little texture to it. The octopus wraps around three of the sides of the dumpster.

I really love how it stores all my stuff! I keep all my miscellaneous pens and sharpies inside. The red matches some other stuff in my studio perfectly. I am even considering now buying another blank one! I really want a black one but will probably wait awhile to make another buy.
