12 Days of Christmas Wrapping Paper
A local printing company hosts a wrapping paper contest every year. And every year, I totally forget to enter. FINALLY, in the nick of time I submitted a design. The theme was “Holiday Harmony” and two years ago, I letterpress printed some Christmas cards using the 12 Days of Christmas. You can read about the printing process of those here. I figured I would submit my design since it was already ready to go!
And wouldn’t you guess it – the first year I actually remember to enter, I WON! As a winner, I got 50 rolls of my own wrapping paper. Also, a single sheet of my design was put in a collection of six and given to clients of the printer as a holiday gift.
One of my favorite parts about the wrapping paper are the dotted interiors that help you cut the paper to size. It really makes a world of difference having guidelines on the inside.
Since wrapping paper costs a lot to ship, I sold a few rolls locally in Richmond. The other rolls I will be giving away to my very large family on Christmas day.
While you might not be able to get your hands on a roll, I do have a few prints leftover of the cards which make a great display item around the holidays. You can pick one up on Etsy here.
