A good friend I met through letterpress here in Richmond bought me tickets to see The Head and the Heart for my birthday. The show was amazing. It was outdoors on a beautiful Friday night, in the middle of the city. A train passed by towards the end of the show on nearby tracks blaring its horn echoing the excitement of the crowd.One week later, I ran First Friday at the Visual Art Center. Inspired by their lyrics, I made the following print and had the opportunity to teach others how to create the letterpress I love with lyrics most of them had just heard.Here is the song the lyrics came from.
