letterpress: Love Notecards

Next weekend I am attending an event at Hope Church. It is a curated Art Show where I will get to show off my stuff and hopefully sell a little of it. The theme is Love so I printed some little giveaway notecards to entice people to talk to me. Here is the lock up with the one inch wood letters.

The first ones I did were on a shiny paper that I didn't 'love.' The wood letters were too inconsistent but I finished printing the little stack regardless.When I got home I took a picture of one in my typewriter.And the final result that I am happy with. The red ink is so deep and rich and you can still get the wood texture in the letters. See the little fleck in the O?!And a detailed shot so you can see more of it. I hope people like them at the event. I will post extras on Etsy for sale after it is done.
