Save the Date: Letterpress Dog Silhouettes
This was such a simple and perfect Save the Date. Lauren and I met at a previous job and I was flattered when she reached out about working with her on her wedding stationery. She 100% trusts and values my work which means the world.
She wanted to include their dogs in the invitation somehow and the save the date felt the best place to do it. She sent me a photo of them waiting at the door and it felt so perfect for the arrival of something, or looking forward to the future.
I used a dark grey ink on 100% cotton paper. The type was kept minimal and the calligraphy followed the strokes of the dogs’ tails.
We paired the save the dates with simple white envelopes so the invites in the future could be more fun with color. And, of course, I used a thinner paper to make them a Christmas ornament!
These save the dates were the perfect reflection of my style and the clients dreams. Can’t wait to show you her invitations.
