The past two sessions of my letterpress class have gone so well. I have had a really great group of students and some repeats that have made it a ton of fun. Each class is reenergizing for me and keeps me pushing myself creatively. This first shot is is of some canvas bags that one of my students made to store his handmade glass fortune cookies. I plan on buying one sometime because they are just gorgeous. One student did a ton of coasters that matched cards she made. One experimented with large wood letters for a class project at VCU.I may be biased about liking this one. They printed a lovely and long James Madison quote! Go DUKES!The Bob Dylan quote had an amazing border on it.[one_half][/one_half][one_half_last][/one_half_last]And we got to pull out the small Kelsey to make these little gift bags.As well as this pile of cherry blossoms (which she also printed and layered in pink)
