Letterpress: Hechizo Jewelry Business Cards

Letterpress Hechizo Jewelry Business Cards

Even though I ramped down my small business work in 2020, I still had a little time for some custom business cards for a local jewelry designer: Hechizo. When Hali, the owner, came to me, she explained she needed some “smaller” cards that could be used inside or on top of the jewlery boxes she uses to package her work. I had some little leftover cards in my studio and suggested we use those for this first round of printing.

I ordered a “double cut” so I ran the cards through the press once and then trimmed them all in half afterwards. I love the subtle blind deboss of her logo. She uses a much more detailed logo sometimes, but I knew the fine lines wouldn’t show up on such a small card unless it was digitally printed.

A friend helped me do some of the trimming but we ran into a few mistakes so I ran another batch through the press and hand trimmed the last hundred by myself! The thick paper was a challenge to trim at home.

The half cut cards turned out perfect in their cute little stacks! And since she was local, she came and picked them up herself. Easy peasy.

Now that you’ve seen Hali’s cards, you should go check out their website! The jewelry is just beautiful and I have been eyeing the tassel earrings ever since fist being introduced to them.
