WASHINGTON, DC Site Illustrations
I have been working with this client since the end of 2019! Finally her wedding is happening and I couldn’t be more excited for her. For her table numbers we decided to highlight places they love around Washington, DC. To kick things off, we have Nationals Park.
The second location is the Washington Monument during cherry blossom season.
The capitol building was a very tedious one to draw. And you can see how they all came together on a large table display.
I wasn’t familiar with this part of DC, but Quincy Lane came out really nice.
I loved the simplicity of the DC War Memorial.
Union Market was a very minimal but was clear to identify.
The venue for the wedding was the SPY museum and was very challenging to draw.
The Carnagie science center was also a new building to me.
DCA was so fun to do & one of my favorite airpots at that.
I also loved working on the Kennedy center. It ended up being a nice shape on the page.
We used all the illustrations for the background of the escort cards.
