Letterpress: Make Do & Mend

I just love this phrase. During World War 2, British war time propaganda spread this though the territories as a reminder to keep on going. Instead of buying new or complaining about shortages the call was to “Make do and mend.”

I feel like in the pandemic times it equally rings true. As I started teaching my first class back, I noticed so many differences and kept repeating the motto to myself.

So here is a little reminder card for myself for when times get hard.
